Starting 2024 Birdhouse.farm will be available for nightly and weekly stays. Guests can enjoy our rooms which includes a tour of the property and a farm fresh breakfast. During your stay you can also sign up for an onsite class, participate in daily farm duties, and use the extensive library.
Around the farm there are myriad opportunities including dark skies tours, storm chasing (seasonal), and spending time at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge with its many hunting, fishing, and birding tours.
WWOOF
Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) is a worldwide movement linking visitors (WWOOFers) with organic farmers, promoting cultural and educational exchanges, and building a global community conscious of ecological farming and sustainability practices. WWOOF started 50 years ago and has grown from a small group in the 1970’s to a worldwide community of hundreds of thousands of people today.
As a WWOOFer, you will participate in the daily life of your host, help on the farm, learn about sustainability, experience a new culture and meet new people,, and receive free room and board during your stay.
